Effective Feb 12012, Foreigners without a working permit will only be able to remain in Turkey for either 90 consecutive days or 90 days spread out over a span of six months .
This is a change from the previous law, which allowed foreigners without a work permit to stay in Turkey for 90 days, leave the country for a few days and then return for another 90-day period.
This will no longer be feasible, according to the new regulation.
The shift is based on a new code published in the official Gazette on Oct 24 2011 .
